A hidden corner of the Heath, a little like a magical enchanted garden.
Walking up the slope, you start deep in foliage, with the sound of birdsong enveloping you. As you continue along the path, rustling in the bushes either side show that there is life in the shadows. At the top of the garden, the space opens out to reveal bursts of colour – bright red and pink azaleas, yellow, purple and blue, and a magnificent pale red maple taking centre stage.
Out of the gate and through the wood, the Heath opens out onto Cohen’s Fields. Hillocky grass and copses of huge trees, thickets of cow parsley up to head height.
